Why Choose Emizentech for IT Consulting

We give you advice that’s actually actionable, because we’re the ones who can build it. No ivory-tower strategy that falls apart on contact with your real systems — just a clear plan and a team that delivers it.

Advice and delivery under one roof

Advice and delivery under one roof

Plenty of consultancies hand you a roadmap and disappear. We write the strategy and then build it — so it’s grounded in what’s actually possible, not a wishlist someone else has to make work.

Vendor-agnostic, genuinely

Vendor-agnostic, genuinely

We don’t resell a particular cloud or platform, so we’ve no reason to push one. The recommendation you get is the one that fits your business — not the one that pays us a margin.

Right-sized for the mid-market

You don’t need Accenture’s price tag for a sensible IT strategy. We bring serious expertise without the bloated discovery phases and the army of junior consultants billing by the hour.

Advice that ships

A decade of strategy and engineering for European businesses, in one team.

Most IT consulting ends with a beautiful report nobody implements.

Here’s a pattern you might recognise: a consultancy comes in, spends three months and a lot of money on discovery, hands over an impressively bound strategy document, and leaves. Then the document sits on a shared drive while your team — who are already busy — try to make it real. A year later, not much has changed, and the only measurable outcome was the invoice. Roughly two-thirds of digital transformations don’t deliver what they promised, and a big reason is exactly this: a gap between the advice and the doing.

Our IT consulting services are built to close that gap. We’re consultants who are also engineers, which changes everything. The strategy we write is shaped by knowing how it’ll actually get built — and when you’re ready to act on it, the same people can do the building. No handoff to a different firm, no “well, that’s not really feasible” six months in. Advice and delivery, joined up.

And we’ll tell you when the smart move is to do less, not more. The best IT advice is sometimes “you don’t need that shiny thing — fix this boring thing first.” It doesn’t sell as well. It’s usually right.

Signs it’s time to bring in an IT consultant.

Not every business needs outside help, and we won’t pretend otherwise. But if a few of these sound uncomfortably familiar, a conversation is probably worth your time.

talk to each other

Your systems don’t talk to each other

Sales uses one tool, finance another, and nothing syncs. People copy-paste between systems and call it a process. Classic integration debt.

Shadow IT is spreading

Shadow IT is spreading

Teams are quietly buying their own software because the official stuff doesn’t work for them. Understandable, but a security and cost nightmare.

Projects keep stalling

Projects keep stalling

IT initiatives start with enthusiasm and quietly die. Usually a sign of unclear strategy, not lazy people.

Legacy systems are holding you back

Legacy systems are holding you back

Ageing software everyone’s afraid to touch, that breaks when you sneeze near it, and that no current employee fully understands.

Security keeps you up at night

Security keeps you up at night

You’re not sure how exposed you are, compliance is a moving target, and a breach would be catastrophic. If you’re worried, that’s worth checking.

IT spend keeps rising, value doesn't

IT spend keeps rising, value doesn’t

The bills go up every year but nothing feels faster or better. A sign the spend isn’t aligned to what the business actually needs.

Full-spectrum technology consulting — the thinking and the building. Here’s the range of IT consulting services we take on.

IT strategy & roadmaps icon

IT strategy & roadmaps

A clear technology roadmap tied to your business goals — not a generic best-practice list. We assess where you are, where you want to go, and the realistic path between them.

Digital transformation icon

Digital transformation

Modernising how your business runs on technology — incrementally and cost-effectively, with outcomes you can measure, rather than a big-bang programme that collapses under its own ambition.

Cloud consulting & migration icon

Cloud consulting & migration

Whether, what, and how to move to the cloud — and the migration itself. AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, EU regions where you need them, with the cost control most cloud projects forget.

Legacy modernization icon

Legacy modernization

Dealing with the ageing systems holding you back — replatforming, re-architecting or carefully replacing them, without breaking the business that depends on them.

Systems integration icon

Systems integration

Making your tools actually work together — ERP, CRM, the lot — so data flows instead of being copy-pasted, and your teams stop living on different planets.

Cybersecurity & compliance icon

Cybersecurity & compliance

Finding the weak spots and closing them — access control, threat monitoring, and keeping you compliant with GDPR and the rest. Boring until the day it isn’t.

Most people aren’t, and that’s fine — figuring it out is half the job. Book a free assessment and we’ll give you an honest read on what’s working, what isn’t, and what’s actually worth fixing first.

We don’t resell software. So we’ve no reason to oversell it.

A lot of “IT consulting” is really sales with extra steps — the recommendation conveniently happens to be the thing the consultant resells. We don’t take vendor margins or kickbacks, which means the advice you get is just the advice. Here’s what that independence buys you.

The right tool, not our tool

We recommend whatever actually fits — including the cheaper option, the open-source one, or sometimes “keep what you’ve got.” No quota to hit.

Honest about trade-offs

Every technology choice has downsides. We’ll tell you the ones the vendor’s sales deck leaves out, so you decide with the full picture.

“Do nothing” is on the table

Sometimes the smartest move is to not buy the new thing. A consultant earning a margin will never tell you that. We will.

You own the decision

We lay out options, costs and risks clearly. You make the call with real information — not steered toward the outcome that suits us.

IT consulting vs IT outsourcing — they’re not the same.

People use these interchangeably and then get the wrong thing. The difference is simple, and knowing which you need saves a lot of wasted budget.

IT consulting

Strategic advice and planning — what technology to use, how to structure it, where to invest. Consultants shape your direction and, in our case, can build it too. You’re buying expertise and a plan you’ll act on.

IT outsourcing

Handing off the day-to-day running — support, maintenance, operations — to an external team. You’re buying capacity and not having to think about it, rather than strategic direction.

Most businesses need a bit of both at different times: consulting to set the direction, then delivery (or outsourcing) to execute it. We do the consulting and the build, and can advise on what’s worth keeping in-house versus handing off. The point is to be clear about which problem you’re solving — strategy or capacity — so you don’t pay for one expecting the other.

The technology we advise on and build.

No three-month discovery theatre. We move quickly to a clear picture and a prioritised plan — then, if you want, we build it.

1

Assess

We look at your systems, processes, data and pain points — and listen to the people who actually use them. The real picture, not the org-chart version.

2

Strategise & prioritise

A roadmap tied to your business goals, with the quick wins flagged and the spend prioritised by ROI. What to do, in what order, and why.

3

Build & implement

If you want us to, the same team delivers it — in increments, so you see value early instead of waiting for a distant big reveal.

4

Support & improve

We don’t vanish at go-live. Ongoing support, optimisation and an honest review of what’s working — because IT is never really “done.”

We’d had a big-name consultancy give us a strategy that read beautifully and was basically unbuildable. Emizentech wrote a plainer plan and then actually built it. The fact that the people advising us were the ones doing the work made all the difference.

They talked us out of an expensive platform we were about to buy and showed us how to get most of the benefit from tools we already had. A consultant telling you to spend less is rare enough that I’ve recommended them to three other companies since.

The Odoo build replaced four separate tools and knocked about 40% off our monthly software bill. Honestly the euro billing with no FX games was half the reason finance said yes.

Cross-border Shopify Plus is fiddly — currencies, tax rules, languages. They’d clearly done it before and saved us months of trial and error. Daily standups that actually lined up with our day helped a lot too.

The questions we get before signing.

Broadly, the strategic side of technology: assessing your current setup, planning a roadmap, recommending what to use and how to structure it, and guiding big decisions like cloud migration, modernisation or security. In our case it extends further than most, because we also build what we recommend — so consulting can flow straight into delivery without handing off to a separate firm. The common thread is expertise and direction: helping you make good technology decisions and then make them real.
Consulting is about strategy and direction — what to do and why. Outsourcing is about handing off the day-to-day running of your IT to an external team. Consulting shapes your future; outsourcing keeps the lights on without your constant attention. Most businesses need both at various points: consulting to set direction, then delivery or outsourcing to execute. We focus on the consulting and build side, and we’ll happily advise on what’s worth keeping in-house versus handing off.
It depends on scope and engagement type. A focused assessment or strategy piece is a defined, fixed-price project; ongoing advisory or a build runs differently. We’re deliberately right-sized for the mid-market — serious expertise without the bloated discovery phases and army of junior consultants that make the big firms so expensive. After an initial conversation you’ll get a clear, honest estimate, and we’d rather scope tightly to your real need than pad it out.
Yes. We don’t resell a particular cloud, platform or piece of software, and we don’t take vendor kickbacks — so we’ve no financial reason to push one option over another. That means the recommendation you get is based on what fits your business, including the cheaper option, the open-source one, or sometimes “keep what you’ve already got.” It’s a genuine difference from consultancies whose advice happens to line up with whatever they resell.
Both, and that’s rather the point. Plenty of consultancies hand over a strategy and leave you to find someone to implement it — which is where a lot of transformations quietly fail. We have the engineers to deliver what we recommend, so the advice is grounded in what’s actually buildable, and you can carry the same team from plan to execution. If you’d rather take the plan and build it in-house, that’s fine too — we’ll hand it over clearly, no lock-in.
As a built-in part of any engagement, not an add-on. We work to GDPR throughout, keep data in EU regions where required, and factor compliance and security into every recommendation rather than treating them as someone else’s problem. For European businesses this matters — getting it wrong is expensive and reputationally nasty — so security and data protection are part of the conversation from the first meeting, not bolted on at the end.

Let’s turn your IT from a headache into an advantage.

Tell us what’s going on — a specific problem, a vague sense that things could be better, or a big decision you’re weighing up. You’ll get a straight assessment within one business day, honest advice with no vendor agenda, and a fixed-price option wherever the scope allows.
